Day 31 Book 4: Born Sinner | Reading Time: 6 hours 7 minutes

I just finished reading this book and I am pretty upset to find out it finishes on a cliffhanger. I really am not a fan of cliffhangers! I enjoy books when I get a satisfactory ending and I was so excited thinking I was going to get one but instead the ending was destroyed when I got to the last sentence and it said to read more of the books if I wanted to know more. What a way to kill the good feeling I had for the book.

All in all I did like the book, keep in mind I just read books to enjoy them not to get technical or to criticize and analyze them so there might be flaws with the writing but as far as the story goes I loved it because it intrigued me. The minute I started reading the book I didn’t want to put it down. I loved every minute of it until I got to the end! I got submerged into all the pages and into its world. I enjoyed getting to know the characters, as the story developed a very detailed movie played in my head. I am a hopeless romantic so the fact that it is a paranormal romance was unique and really spoke to me. I do feel like this is more of a female read, I don’t think a guy would enjoy it as much unless he is into romances.

The book resembled 50 Shades of Grey so I caught myself comparing the two story lines. The story was very intense and I enjoyed all the feelings that it gave me, the only emotion it didn’t give me was sadness enough to make me cry which is a bit disappointing, maybe in the next book. I am kind of mad that I have to wait for a second book to come out, why ruin it when it could’ve ended on a nice note in the first book!
